Foundation Routine

I've got a new powder and foundation today! I was using this other foundation a dermatologist recommended and it was pretty cool, but I paid near 50 dollars for it.

So the lady at Sephora hooked it up with some cool stuff.

The primer that she uses on my face was out of stock so she packed in some samples instead. One is by Boscia and the other is by Clear FX.

The foundation was on sale and only $28. I really like it because its nice...
It's Natural FX in the color M60.

The powder is also nice....
It's Cover FX in the color Medium.

They are really light and have tons of coverage. Plus they're supposed to be good for my skin so lets see where I'm at in about 4 weeks.

NOTD

I did my nails today, 'cause I'm awesome! The color is Mr. Sandman by Milani. Check it out.

November Ipsy Bag

Ipsy has really re-invented itself.  I'm loving the shit out of this subscription.  I get all makeup, beauty products and the bags they come in are super cute.  I've been using last months one when I go out.  I love ipsy!

This month's bag was  like a brown-purple kinda bag with a gold zipper.

First thing I picked out was the lipgloss.
It's called Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss by bareMinerals.

I love this lipgloss.  It's a really pretty dark berry color with a shimmer in it.  It goes on pretty sheer but it looks freaking purple.  I love this gloss so much!  I love lipgloss!

Next up is a brow gel.
It's called Eyebrow Defining Gel by Chella.

The only thing that sucks about this was that it was between this or the benefit mascara, which I really fucking wanted, because I love mascara, but this cool too.  I really like brow stuff, because mine are so hard to tame.

It goes on clear and has a spooly on it and it's not sticky.  Very nice.

Here's a fun one
It's called Meet Matt(e) Eyeshadow by theBalm.
The picture makes it look brown, but it's actually a really dark purple.  I guess it can be described as brownish but you put it on and it looks purple.  I love the little package it comes in.  It's a magnetic folding case and its just so cute.  And the name Meet Matt(e)... haha!

The color is in Matt Batali.

Here is an eyeliner.
It's called Intense Eyeliner by Starlet Cosmetics, in the color "the total absence of light."  Isn't that clever.  Holy fuck I was like well no shit right, that's a good name for a black eyeliner.

Here's the really fun part.
It's called Nail Lacquer by nailtini.

I love glitter nail polishes, and this one is just fucking glittery as fuck.  I don't know the name of it, I don't see it anywhere but it's beautiful.

Overall, I am freaking loving this new ipsy.  They cater to what I want and they don't give me any whack-ass perfumes/fragrances/whatever-the-fucks.  Keep it Ipsy, you're awesome.

November Birchbox

Yay! I'm back from my hiatus! I was going to post sooner but I got a little lazy and procrastinated on a bunch of stuff, including work.

Blah, blah, blah!  Anyway, I got my Birchbox and Ipsy bag the same day, so there is going to be two posts.  First up... Birchbox!

//oh by the way, sorry for the cell phone pictures.  I'm telling you i'm lazy.
///sorry not sorry.

First thing I noticed was the little gift box I saw.  I thought that was so cute.  I'm definitely gonna reuse it for a gift card or something.

Inside of the gift box was this body serum.
It's called, Aromatic Body Serum by One Love Organics.

It comes with a little spray to, which I love!  It was also packaged inside another little bag.  Good thing because it kind of leaked.  I love the smell although, it's bit oily.  Definitely something my mom would like, which is what this box is about, right?  Giving shit away you really don't want, haha!

Also in the gift box was a lip butter, which I fucking love.
It's called, Pomegranate & Fig Lip Butter by Mox Botanicals.

It's got this berry taste to it and it's super hydrating without being feeling oily or anything.

Then there was this weird powder for hair.
It's called Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder by Lulu Organics.

It's supposed to be like dry shampoo.  I don't know but I'm not going to try it.  I'm gonna leave my little sister to let me know if it works.  I like the packaging though, and it's definitely something I've never seen before.

Now for my favorite thing from this box... mascara!
This one is FIBRE LASHXTEND Lengthening Mascara by ModelCo.

I love getting mascara in my sample boxes.  This one has little fibers in it and I've always wanted to try one so cool that I don't have to buy a full one.  I like the little mirror on the back of the mascara, I forgot to take a picture of it.

Last and, well, least, I got a cologne sample for a dude.  This one is by John Varvatos and it's called Artisan.  It smells nice without being too overpowering y'know?  Men's cologne bothers me because they always seemed to be drowned in it.  But I like this one, I guess.  Maybe I'll wear it instead of giving it away.
Regardless, I fucking hate receiving perfume/cologne/fragrance in my sample boxes.

I liked this box, but I'm thinking about unsubscribing.  It's kinda pissing me off.  Whatever though, I feel like one more month, one more month, but I'm only disappointing myself at this point.  Honestly, the coupons inside the box were the only ones worth wanting this box.
