July's Julep Maven Box Opening

I keep forgetting to cancel my Julep Maven subscription and not because it's shitty or whatever it's just a lot of money for me right now.

I really liked the look of this box and I had no idea that the Maven box was barely turning two, I believe I first signed up last year August, and it's turned into a huge subscription deal.

My sister's cat loves the box.

They included flower seeds, that's a pretty cool idea, I'll probably grow them I dunno.  Maybe not, I dunno, I dunno.

The color scheme was really pretty and I think I'm gonna keep most of it for future birthday packaging or whatever.

Real Quick: Benefit Face

I went to Sephora looking for the new 15 hour primer and ended up buying the whole trio. The foundation, the powder and the primer.

I absolutely love this new combo.
I also bought some erase paste.

The color I got it in is "what I crave" Toasted Beige

Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo

I have finally gotten some Color Tattoo.  I never saw the new ones at my Walgreens or CVS so I didn't get them right away, but today I traveled to next closest CVS and I saw them!  It's the ones with holo in them!

These are super creamy and so pretty I think I'm gonna get some more on my next trip to the next closest Walgreens or CVS.

Here are some pictures.

Jewelry Haul!

Recently, I have been all over the place (on the Internet) searching for the perfect spring accessories to one-up my wardrobe for spring. I never wear jewelry and I have been slowly acquiring baubles here and there, but since the seasons are changing I just decided, fuck it. Why the fuck not?

Lets start with the first order that came in, from JYJZ on shoplately.com. Holy sale, Batman, shoplately is my new obsession they have the greatest variation of accessories and I just need everyone to know!

( The sunglasses are from Bleudame.com but that's a different future post. )

I got this edge spiked ring that takes over my entire hand. I love the way it makes my hand look and it seriously helps an outfit look put together.
They also included a free gift! I'm not a fan of big plastic rings but I think the free gift was more than just generous, I mean I only got one item from them.
10/10, would recommend!

Second, I ordered a couple things from Glint & Gleam, which is another shop on shoplately.com. These items, are cool as shit.

I've never owned any kind of knuckle ring. I've always thought they would feel uncomfortable, but this one is seriously my new favorite. I love everything about this ring. The thickness, the simplicity, the shape, it's a perfect starter knuckle ring.

I also ordered this arrow looking ring. It's so dainty and cute and I knew it was going to be a small ring but in person it's just so delicate-looking. I thing this is a good addition to the collection.

Lastly, from Glint & Gleam, I ordered these earrings. They are the perfect spring earring. I love the mint, especially. It's got this really pretty gold detailing on one side while the other is just plain gold. And I had no idea they were going to be so big, but they totally work and they aren't as heavy as I had assumed they were going to be.

Finally, the last jewelry stop I did (so far) was from Wildfox. It was a sale event on Modnique.com. I couldn't decide which one to get but I ended up choosing this one.

It is a short, almost choker necklace. It has a bunch of skulls on it. I am not sure if it came in other colors, but this one is in a rose gold color. I absolutely love this piece, it's edgy and goes great with my new spring wardrobe and, shit, it's Wildfox!

My favorite part about this piece is the bone clasp at the end of the necklace. Like how fucking cute, instead of a regular clasp they put this bone there! Fucking cute shit right there!

I know it's been a while, I'm trying to get back into my hobbies but I seem stressed out for no reason whatsoever.
So, I decided to post my dress I bought from boohoo.com.

I got this beautiful dress.  It is the Cara Cap Sleeve Jersey Bodycon Midi Dress in Black.  I got it in a size UK16 or US12. It seems like it'll be a bit see through so I'm probably going to have to invest in a black slip or something, I have one already but I wouldn't mind buying another ;]

Maybe I'll post an OOTD.

The Great and Powerful Oz Palettes

So I took advantage of the Friends & Family Sale on Urban Decay's website and got the Great and Powerful Oz palettes!

I also got a sample of Naked Skin Beauty Balm, so we'll see how that goes.  I've recently gotten a little darker so I don't think it'll go with my skin tone, so I don't know.  We'll see if I even do try it.

Anyway, I love the packaging, it just looks magical.

First, there is Glinda palette.  This one was very light and sort of bright, I guess.  I loved the colors in this palette because they put so many different colors in the same sort of gradient.

Here is the face chart that came with the palette.

This is the actual case it came in.  It's metal and it's beautiful.  The case definitely reflects the colors that are inside this palette.

The palette has six shades and allows you to replace the eye shadows once these run out.  Which I hope they never do because they are fucking fantastic.

It also came with an eyeliner and a lip product.

The full length mirror is an obvious plus, I love having a full mirror because I don't have one portable mirror and it has magnification on it so I can hold it out to see the full face.

So now for the shadows.

This one is called, "Tornado."  It's a dark purple with a pink-y shimmer.  It's a really pretty color.

This one is a duo-shade called, "Aura."
The left side is a blue - pink iridescence.  The right side is a light - bright pink iridescence.

This one is, "Magic."
Purple-pink with a golden shimmer.

This is, "Illusion."
Peach-Gold satin color.

This is another duo-shadow called, "Oz."
I wanna say these are pretty much a given.
Gold and Silver with chunky glitter.

Lastly this one is called, "South."
Like a taupe-silver glitter.

The eye liner that came with the palette is a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the color "Rockstar"
A metallic purple liner.

The lip product in this is the Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in "Glinda."
A wear-able, nude pink.  It looks like a bit of frost to it.

Next up is the Theodora palette.  These colors are supposed to be more a warm, neutral palette.  I do see it, but I think it could also be a dark, smoked out look too.

Here is the face chart that came with the palette.

I love this packaging it shows you the personality of the character.  The foreground has this dark, looming presence, while the background has this vibrant, colorful thing going.

Same idea applies with this palette.  You could replace it with new shadows once these run out.

Great full-faced mirror, again.  Love that aspect of these palettes.

First shadow from the Theodora palette is, "Broken."
A creamy, ivory color.

Second shadow is called, "Beware."
A matte, warm brown.  This is super soft.

This one is, "Bewitch."
A taupe - brown color with a light shimmer.

This one is, "West."
A very pigmented muted purple - taupe color.

This is a duo-shadow called, "Spell."
Again, just some black and golds with chunky glitter.

I know this one is blurry, shut up.  This one is called, "Jealous."
Darker color is a dark, mossy green.  The lighter one is the same mossy green only lighter. no shit right.

The eye liner included in this palette is the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in "Zero."
A black liner.

The lip product in this palette is the Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in "Theodora."
Super red color.  I love this lip color.

Here is the sample size of Naked Skin Beauty Balm.

This is how much I applied.

And apparently when I first swatched it, it had blended out nicely, but I don't know I've gotten dark since it's starting to get warmer out here in Texas, and my dumbass failed to apply sun block.

Can't wait for the movie later tonight!!!!
