The Great and Powerful Oz Palettes

So I took advantage of the Friends & Family Sale on Urban Decay's website and got the Great and Powerful Oz palettes!

I also got a sample of Naked Skin Beauty Balm, so we'll see how that goes.  I've recently gotten a little darker so I don't think it'll go with my skin tone, so I don't know.  We'll see if I even do try it.

Anyway, I love the packaging, it just looks magical.

First, there is Glinda palette.  This one was very light and sort of bright, I guess.  I loved the colors in this palette because they put so many different colors in the same sort of gradient.

Here is the face chart that came with the palette.

This is the actual case it came in.  It's metal and it's beautiful.  The case definitely reflects the colors that are inside this palette.

The palette has six shades and allows you to replace the eye shadows once these run out.  Which I hope they never do because they are fucking fantastic.

It also came with an eyeliner and a lip product.

The full length mirror is an obvious plus, I love having a full mirror because I don't have one portable mirror and it has magnification on it so I can hold it out to see the full face.

So now for the shadows.

This one is called, "Tornado."  It's a dark purple with a pink-y shimmer.  It's a really pretty color.

This one is a duo-shade called, "Aura."
The left side is a blue - pink iridescence.  The right side is a light - bright pink iridescence.

This one is, "Magic."
Purple-pink with a golden shimmer.

This is, "Illusion."
Peach-Gold satin color.

This is another duo-shadow called, "Oz."
I wanna say these are pretty much a given.
Gold and Silver with chunky glitter.

Lastly this one is called, "South."
Like a taupe-silver glitter.

The eye liner that came with the palette is a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the color "Rockstar"
A metallic purple liner.

The lip product in this is the Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in "Glinda."
A wear-able, nude pink.  It looks like a bit of frost to it.

Next up is the Theodora palette.  These colors are supposed to be more a warm, neutral palette.  I do see it, but I think it could also be a dark, smoked out look too.

Here is the face chart that came with the palette.

I love this packaging it shows you the personality of the character.  The foreground has this dark, looming presence, while the background has this vibrant, colorful thing going.

Same idea applies with this palette.  You could replace it with new shadows once these run out.

Great full-faced mirror, again.  Love that aspect of these palettes.

First shadow from the Theodora palette is, "Broken."
A creamy, ivory color.

Second shadow is called, "Beware."
A matte, warm brown.  This is super soft.

This one is, "Bewitch."
A taupe - brown color with a light shimmer.

This one is, "West."
A very pigmented muted purple - taupe color.

This is a duo-shadow called, "Spell."
Again, just some black and golds with chunky glitter.

I know this one is blurry, shut up.  This one is called, "Jealous."
Darker color is a dark, mossy green.  The lighter one is the same mossy green only lighter. no shit right.

The eye liner included in this palette is the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in "Zero."
A black liner.

The lip product in this palette is the Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in "Theodora."
Super red color.  I love this lip color.

Here is the sample size of Naked Skin Beauty Balm.

This is how much I applied.

And apparently when I first swatched it, it had blended out nicely, but I don't know I've gotten dark since it's starting to get warmer out here in Texas, and my dumbass failed to apply sun block.

Can't wait for the movie later tonight!!!!

Lorac Eye Candy Full Face Collection

Hautelook had Lorac on sale.  That's it.  That's the post.  Enjoy.

The packaging is super cute, which is my only reason for buying this.  I'm not even joking.

Check it out.  It looks like little chocolate bars. Oh my goodness, how cute is that!

The first chocolate bar is a nude eye shadow palette.

Mesmerizing Dark Chocolate:  Cream Eye Liner Palette.  I'm going to murder this palette, so cute.

Blackberry Truffle Seduction:  Smokey Eye Shadow Palette

Caramel Love Affair:  Golden Eye Shadow Palette

Tantalizing Cocoa:  Bronze Eye Shadow Palette

Indulge In Berry Kisses:  Cheek & Lip Tint Palette

That's it!
